A number of tournaments are run throughout the season that are very popular with club members.
All our tournaments have both a main draw and a “plate” draw into which the losers of the 1st round are automatically entered. Entry to all tournaments have a nominal fee of £3.50 and are open to all no matter what their ability – from beginners to club team members. The bigger the mix of talent the more fun they are! Apart from the handicap tournament, all tournaments are seeded.
A sign-up sheet is posted on the club notice board at least one month before each tournament begins giving members plenty of time to put their name down. We encourage everyone to sign-up as our tournaments are a great way to meet new players and, who knows, you might win! All winners and runners up are recognised for their achievements and get a trophy to keep.
